Centiare

The centiare (symbol: Ca ) is a measuring unit of Superficie which is equivalent to 1 square Mètre. It is a unit apart from the international Système (IF) of use with him.

It is primarily used to characterize the surface of land and buildings in the cities, whose surfaces are less important than in the countryside, or to indicate the measuring accuracy until the square meter. One writes for example: 1 has 16 Ca for a surface of 116 m ² (IE 1*100+16*1)
