The Center of world commerce of Montreal was built on the lane of the Fortifications in 1992, with the Old man-Montreal. Old buildings renovated there are covered and form thus a Atrium, containing shops, restaurants and an access to the underground Montreal and the subway Public garden-Victoria.

The Center belongs to the international Quartier of Montreal.

In addition to the trade of food, banking, of mode, photograph and of voyage, the Center of world commerce of Montreal has a remarkable Architecture interior. It includes/understands:

  • a piece of the Berlin Wall
  • the Intercontinental Hotel Montreal http://www.montreal.intercontinental.com/
  • a fountain with a statue of Amphitrite, by the French architect Dieudonné-Barthelemy Guibal
