The Center of studies on the current one and the daily newspaper (Céaq) were founded in 1982 by Michel Maffesoli and Georges Balandier, professors with the Sorbonne. This research laboratory with international vocation is interested mainly in the new forms of sociality and imaginary in its multiple forms.

Two reviews ( Companies and the Books of imaginary the ) as of the regular conferences make it possible to make public the work of this research center.
