Center contemporary Walloon art the Chestnut grove
the Center of Walloon art contemprain the Chestnut grove is an Arts center Walloon located at Flémalle. Recognized by the the Community Wallonia-Brussels in 1984, the Chestnut grove proposes exposures on the multiple expressions of the art of today. She collaborates with the other centers of art of Wallonia but also with the foreign organizations homologous within the framework with the European résau Apollonia since 2005. The Chestnut grove publishes works with didactic vocation, historical studies, the catalogs of the exposures presented since 1979. Certain publications as on the group Abstract art , the Walloon abstract first , Free trade (avant-gardes in country of Liege of 1939 with 1980) are scientific references. The Center organized various demonstrations abroad like the exposure on the design to Milan in 2006.
