Center Mandapa
The Mandapa Center, in Paris, is a scene open to traditional arts of India and besides. He proposes courses of Bharata natyam and Kathak.
History
In 1975 Milena Salvini and Roger Filipuzzi créerent the Center of promotion of traditional arts of the spectacle. They presented for the first time Kathakali (1967), Chhau de Purulia (1972), Odissi (1974), Kutiyattam (1980) and Kalarippayat (1982).

- Milena Salvini , founder and artistic Director, was dancer of kathakali (danced theater of Kerala). Born in Italy, French nationality, it leaves for India to learn the kathakali, in Shantiniketan (Bengal) then Kalamandalam (Kerala) as from 1964. She studies also the Bharata natyam and the Kathak then UNESCO and the French government entrust missions in Kerala to him where she discovers the theater crowned Kutiyattam and Kalarippayat martial art. It founds the Mandapa Center in 1975 with Roger Filipuzzi.

Vidya , dancer of Bharata natyam, ensign in the Mandapa Center. Initiated by Malavika, it is the principal disciple of M.K. Saroja whose guru was Muthukumaran Pillai.

Sharmila Sharma , dancer of Kathak, ensign in the Mandapa Center since 1993. She had as Masters: his/her mother and her two grandmothers as of the 3 years age, then, in Kathak Kendra de New Delhi (1983-1993), Rajendra KUMAR Gangani (style of Jaïpur) and Birju Maharaj (style of Lucknow: Lucknow Gharana ).

Isabelle Anna , dancer of Kathak. Girl of Mr. Salvini and R. Filipuzzi, it starts at the 5 years age the training of the Bharata natyam then turns to the kathak in 1997 pennies the direction of Sharmila Sharma. In 2001 it continues its formation in India in Kathak Kendra of New-Delhi where it obtains in 2004 the diploma Honors Course under the authority of Jai Kishan Maharaj. It completes its university formation by Post-Diploma in 2006. Maria-Kiran , dancer of Bharata natyam. Born in India, it is high in France and discovers the dance in the Mandapa Center as of the 6 years age with Vidya. At 15 years, it presents its arangetram to the Indian temple of Chidanbaram and gives recitals under the authority of M.K. Saroja. In 1998 Yamini Krishnamurti insufflates its power to him. She works today with Jamuna Krishnan which opens it in-depth with the narrative dance. Maria-Kiran in particular gave several recitals to the Theater of the Abbesses (Paris). In 2006 it presents an original choreography to it on a music of Bach.
