Center Henri and André Charlier
The Center Henri and André Charlier is a cultural establishment of obedience catholic traditionalist. It was founded in 1980 by Bernard Antony, under the sponsorship of Jean Madiran and Albert Gerard (in addition president of the Charlier foundation). Its name is drawn from Henri (painter, sculptor and writer) and from Andre Charlier (principal of Maslacq and of the college of Normandy). It is installed Boulevard Saint-Germain, with Paris. Its general secretary is Yann Baly, one of his vice-presidents Yves Daoudal.
The Center affirms to defend the “spiritual values, morals and artistic of graeco-latin and Christian civilization” and organizes summer schools to Fanjeaux and the Mesnil-Saint-Wolf. It is at the origin of the creation of the “days of French Friendship”, of the publication of the daily newspaper Présent and of the organization pilgrimage known as “of the Christian and national resistance” of Chartres.
It is related to association Christendom-Solidarity, also rested and chaired by Bernard Antony, association belonging to the catholic national extreme-right-hand side, which aims, according to the Réseau Voltaire, “the rechristianisation of Europe and the return to Catholicism”. Old directing of the National front, Bernard Antony is clearly engaged, with his association, against IVG.
The Charlier center and Christendom-Solidarity publish the review Reconquête .
