Center German space operations

The German Center of space operations (in English German Space Operations Center , from where the Initials GSOC) is a German control center space located at Oberpfaffenhofen close to Munich. It has in load the monitoring and the follow-up of several missions in Terrestrial orbit.

Missions

It will have in particular charges the follow-up with it with the programme of positioning by satellites Galileo, as well as the European Laboratoire Columbus which will be attached to the International space station (ISS).

In addition to several scientific expeditions, the GSOC follows satellite missions of commercial, like several of those of the company Eutelsat.
