A center is a player of Canadian American football or . It belongs to the offensive formation of the team and more precisely of the offensive line made up of five players located in front of the Quarterback.

Qualities

The center is often the least imposing player of the offensive line made up of the tackles and guard S. Its size oscillates between 1,85  m and 1,95  m and its weight, certainly rather important (on average 135  kg), remains in lower part of that of its fellow-members of the offensive line.
