Cenotaph

A cenotaph is a monument raised with the memory of a person or a group of people and whose form recalls that of a Tombe to, although it does not contain the body.

Many cenotaphs were set up in the world since the Antiquité.

One of the most known cenotaphs is that of Whitehall a street of Westminster to London.
