Cencerro
In the music Cuba innate, a bell called cencerro or " campana" , is used like Percussion instrument. She is normally played by the bongocero, player of bongos.
She finds her origin in the bells carried by the herds. In its Cuban, it accentuates traditionally pulsates it at the time of the chorus and the montuno. The cencerro properly spoke is a bell larger, and thus more serious than the bells of charanga, tcha-tcha-tcha or than the bells agogos used in the music brézilienne.
