Cements of Morocco

Ciments of Morocco is a company Morocco groin of construction materials, subsidiary of Italcementi Group.

History

The Société of Cements of Agadir (SCA) was created in 1951 as a subsidiary company with 100 % of the company French Cements.

Following its quotation in 1969 with the Stock Exchange Casablanca, the SCA opens its capital with the shareholders Morocco ains. The French Cement share passed to only 37 %.

In 1989, the company creates two subsidiary companies with its activity: Betomar for the ready-mixed concrete and Sagram for the aggregate.

In 1990, French Ciments becomes again the majority shareholder before being itself controlled by Italcementi. During this year, the SCA and Cimasfi (Safi) amalgamate under the name of Ciments of Morocco .
