Cellular proliferation

The cellular proliferation is the fact that the cells multiply quickly and in abundance. The cells reproduce by mitosis i.e. by division of them same, therefore a cell in health continues a line of cells in health.

On the other hand sick cells can produce for example a Cancer by cellular division.

Contrary, the form of the gene " Wing vestigiale " inhibit this cellular proliferation during the formation of the wing of the drosophila.

At the plants

vegetable hormones, like the Cytokinine S, induce the cellular proliferation and the formation of cal S.
