On the commune of Cellette, in the village of Combes, it has there a stele dedicated to a Boeing B.17 " Volante" fortress; fallen on February 6th, 1945. This stele was inaugurated on June 11th, 2006 by Bob Belgam (Lt Colonel, retired) which was the pilot of this plane. This stele was installed on the initiative of the families Johnson and Belgam and thanks to the eagerness of some Creusois: J.C Montmartin, J Ladant, have Maune and D Ducourtioux and with supports active commune of Cellette through the action of its Mayor and its Advisers…
