Celine Frisch , born with Marseilles in 1974, is a French Claveciniste.

Biography

Céline Frisch begins the study of the Clavecin at the six years age. She receives in 1992 her first prices in harpsichord and Chamber music to the academy of Aix-en-Provence. She leaves then to Basle to continue there her studies with the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, in the classes of Andreas Staier and Jesper Christensen, from where she obtains the diploma for the occupation of soloist cum laude .

In 1998, it founds with Pablo Valetti the unit Café Zimmermann of which it is artistic director and plays as a soloist or continuist.

Its recordings, especially dedicated to Bach, received many prices of criticism, in particular its Variations Goldberg , recorded partly with the unit Café Zimmermann, which received the gold Tuning fork of the year 2002 and the Shock of the year 2001 of the World of the Music.

In 1996, it is named Lauréate Juventus of the the Council of Europe and in 2002, is the first harpsichordist named by the Victoires of the classical music.
