Of mesodermic origin , the celebrities are structures embryonic Myomérozoaires, located on both sides Tube neural and chorde and composed of units repeated along the antéro-posterior axis of the embryo. They give rise to the Sclérotome which produces the axial Vertèbre S, coasts and cartilages (at the vertebrate ones), with the Dermatome which produces the Derme and the Myotome, at the origin of the skeletal Muscle S of the trunk and the members (striated muscles). At the end of its development, the embryo has 42 to 43 pairs of celebrities, and thus the calculation of their number makes it possible to determine the age of this embryo.
