Celanese Building

The Celanese Building is a building of New York located in the district of Midtown (Manhattan). It is on the Sixth avenue, which off bears also the name of Avenue the Americas . It belongs to the Rockefeller Center, and XYZ Buildings , three turns of close architecture. The completion of construction goes back to 1973. The plan is the work of Bureaux Harrison, Abramovitz & Harris and The Associated Architects. The building is the head office of Fox Entertainment Group (News Corporation).

The three letters XYZ correspond to the increasing size of the three scrapes-ciels. The Exxon Building corresponds to the X , and measures 229 meters for 54 stages, although it was not that the second built in 1971. The building Y is the McGraw-Hill Building , built in 1969 and which measures 206 meters, and Z is the Celanese Building , which culminates with 180 meters and has 45 stages
