Cecile Wajsbrot

Cécile Wajsbrot is a novelist, translator and contemporary French essay writer.

Biography

Cécile Wajsbrot was born with Paris in 1954. She works initially as professor de Lettres before leaving State education and launching out in freelance journalism and the translation, trades which enable him to write. She collaborates in the reviews the New Arts persons and the literary Magazine.

She lives today sometimes with Paris, sometimes with Berlin.

Its novels establish a relation between a difficult past and strong individual stories. The silence and the suffering of its characters resound in each reader.
