Cecile Daroux
Cecile Daroux , born in 1969, is a French Flûtiste .
She studied the Flute with the Conservatoire of Paris with Pierre-Yves Artaud. She is titular of a DEA in musicology, obtained in 1993 with a bearing report over the flute and 20th century. She gained the first price of interpretation to the international contest of Darmstadt.
Cécile Daroux is especially recognized for her work on the contemporary repertory , but it is also interested in the traditional repertory. It flirte also with the impromptu musics and the Jazz, with through, for example, of its collaborations with Sun Ra, Louis Sclavis and Christophe Monniot.
