Cayes of the Belize
It is the second larger reef coral after that of the Grande barrier of coral in Australia.
GeographyThe cayes of the Belize are made up of the cayes Ambergris, Caulker, Hicks, Glover, Lighthouse, Mauger, South Water, Saint George and Turneffe and belong to Belize District and Corozal District. It is the principal tourist destination of the Belize in term of frequentation. The Récif Glover shelters a marine reserve.
PhilatelyIn 1984 and 1985, Cayes of the Belize emitted some stamps for submission to the philatelists. These stamps were not recognized by the Belize and the UPU but some succeeded in circulating, generally by kindness.
