Cavira
Enrique Cano Iribarne known as “Cavira” , born with Carthagène (Spain, province of Murcie) the January 9th 1893, died with Madrid (Spain) the July 3rd 1927, was a Spanish Matador.
Presentation
He is presented in the form of a Novillero to Madrid the March 7th 1915 to the sides of “Algabeño II” and “Corcito” vis-a-vis novillos of the Ganadería of Felix Gómez. Then eight years without being able passed to bore truly: considered good estoqueador but cold and without “transmission”, it did not pass near the public.It takes finally the alternate in its birthplace the April 22nd 1923 with like godfather Nicanor Villalta and witness Fausto Barajas vis-a-vis bulls of the ganadería of Pablo Romero; it confirms it in Madrid the June 17th same year with like parrin “Paco Madrid” and like witness “Saleri II” vis-a-vis bulls of the ganadería of Miura, that of the ceremony being ganadería of Bañuelos. Thereafter, its career is continued, quite as modest as previously.
July 3rd, 1927, in the arenas of Madrid, it is pilot confirmation of alternative of “Andaluz” by “Gallito de Zafras” vis-a-vis bulls of the ganadería of Perez of Concha. At the time of the thrust, it is seriously wounded by the third bull named “Saltador”. He dies while one transports it to the infirmary.
