Cavallino Matto

Cavallino Matto is largest Amusement park of the Toscane, located in a forest of pines, on the beach of the Tyrrhenian Sea with the Marina di Donoratico (the province of Livorno). It extends on a sector from 60,000 square meters. The park proposes restaurants, self-service stores, surface of picnic…

Since February 2006, Cavallino Matto is the property of the family of Manfredi.

The park generally opens March with October.

History

Cavallino Matto was, in 1967, a modest park with the free entry including/understanding some plays: Miniature golf, Table tennis, walks with back of horse in this splendid Mediterranean forest of pines, close to the beach, with Juste 100 meters of the sea. It was the park of Sunday, with the departure functioning thanks to the inhabitants of the neighborhoods.

With time, attractions proposed evolved/moved while remaining in the optics of a family park.

But, unfortunately, competition also evolved/moved, other parks had been born in Italy and in the adjoining countries. They proposed attractions more sensational and this allowed gigantic investments, which the small park could not do.

Cavallino Matto then is transformed into 2001, Magirè and 2006 in Magix (what now became the name of the mascot) taking different appearances but with contents remained unchanged. Until the arrival of the family of Manfredi , in February 2006 which taken again in hand the park with the intention to create a large park of leisure and attractions in the heart of the Tuscan .

With the season 2007, one little already to perceive an improvement on the level of prposées, more spectacular attractions. The figures already showed for this season 2007 40% visitors in more compared to the former season. The good communication and the positive presence on the territory of Cavallino Matto fnctionnent and make awake a park which slept during plusieures years.

Starting from October 2006, when the park closed for the period of winter, began large work to set up the transformation of the park. When on March 31st, 2007, the park reopened its doors it year one season any partivulière full with changes named Magic 2007 .
