Caudron brothers
Gaston (January 18th 1882 - December 12th 1915) and Rene (July 1st 1884 - September 27th 1959) were born with Favières in the French department from the Somme.
Farmers themselves, they impassion themselves for the incipient Aviation and carry out initially a Planeur that they make fly on the beach of the Crotoy. This one is drawn by a horse. It can traverse several hundred meters. As manufacturers, they create in 1909 Association " Airplanes Caudron Frères" who becomes, since 1910 the Société of the planes Caudron initially installed in Crotoy, then to] and will occupy a particular place in the Histoire of aviation.
Since 1910, they create also the very first flying school of the world, attracting in the Sum of future aviators.
In 1912, they create also the very first seaplane of the history.
In 1913, the flying school doubles of a military écoloe of piloting.
They develop, for the French Army, several reconnaissance aircraft. In front of the projection of the German troops, the factory leaves the Sum for Lyon.
Gaston Caudron kills himself on board a Caudron R-4 during a test on December 10th 1915 on the aerodrome of Lyon-Bron.
The Caudron company was installed in particular on the aerodrome of Guyancourt in Yvelines. July 1st 1933 the Caudron company amalgamated with the Groupe Renault.

- 1921 on April 1st Adrienne Bolland crosses the Andes cordillera
- on November 30th, 1934, Helene Boucher is killed at the beginning out of the Aérodrome out of Guyancourt, during a training flight to the ordering of Caudron " Rafale" .
