The Río Cauca , is a Rivière of Colombia and the main thing Affluent of Río Magdalena. Taking its source in the south-west of the Colombia, it runs out towards the Northern , crosses the the Andes by forming many falls and becomes navigable with Cáceres. Río Cauca joined the Río Magdalena (close to Mompós), after a course of 965 km approximately. It is navigable on 620 km.
