The catholic Grand Prix of literature is a Literary prize decreed by the Association of the catholic writers of French language. Created 1945 (Price of the French Revival) under the impulse of catholic writers of which Jacques Maritain and Jacques Madaule, it is also called, by abuse language, Grand Prix of the catholic writers . Usually decreed in spring, its amount is variable. After several years of interruption, it is again decreed since 2000.

The catholic Grand Prix of literature, decreed by a made up jury writers, should not be confused with the Prix of religious literature, which is for its part decreed by the religious booksellers.
