Catherine Millet , born in 1948 with Wood-Doves, is an Critic art , Commissaire of exposure and writer E Frenchwoman.
She is founder of the review Art Close (in 1972), and director of the drafting of this magazine referring in the world of the Contemporary art. She is also author of many works on the contemporary art.
After having been the partner of the galerist Daniel Templon, it is today that of the photographer and writer Jacques Henric.
She acquired a strong notoriety near the large-public, with the Sexual life of Catherine Mr. , sulfurous autobiographical test, sold, at the end of 2005, with more than 2,5 million specimens. In this book, it presents its sexual history, of the childish Masturbation until its fascination of adult for the Sexualité of group. This book was judged by Edmund White as “the most explicit book in connection with the sex, ever written by a woman”.
In Dali and me (ED. Gallimard), it reveals without taboos the sexuality of Salvador Dali and her reports/ratios with the body and the desire.
