Catherine Ire of Russia

Catherine Ire (Екатерина I), of her true name Marthe Skavronskaïa (born the April 15th 1683/1684 in Livonie and deceased the May 17th 1727), is empress of Russia of 1725 with 1727. She marries the emperor Pierre I {{er}} in 1707.

Born poor relations, it had just married a Swedish private when she was reduced in captivity after the catch of Marienbourg. Of a remarkable beauty, it rained with the prince Alexandre Menchikov, and soon afterwards with Pierre Large the itself.
