Catherine Colonna
Catherine Colonna , born the April 16th 1956 with Saint-Symphorien, is a Diplomate and political Femme French.
Biography
Holder of a DEA of public law, it is graduate Institut of political studies of Paris and is a former student of the National school of administration.With the beginning of the year 1980, it begins a career from diplomat to the embassy of France with Washington, at the press service and of information. After a passage to the direction of the legal affairs of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, it becomes in 1988 technical adviser in the cabinet of Maurice Faure, Minister for the Equipment of François Mitterrand. Of return to the Quay of Orsay in the Center of Analysis and Forecast in 1989, it enters ensuiteà the direction of the communication and the information of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. On their arrival with the Quay of Orsay in 1993, Alain Juppe and her principal private secretary Dominique de Villepin will appreciate it and name it, in 1993, spokesperson assistant of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
In May 1995, Jacques Chirac makes of it her spokesperson with the Elysium during more than nine years. Wishing to leave its functions, it is named managing director of the National center of cinematography (CNC) fine September 2004.
The June 2nd 2005, it is named minister delegated to the European Businesses of the Gouvernement Dominique de Villepin until the May 15th 2007.
