Cathay (Warhammer)

Cathay is a fictitious country of the universe of Warhammer. The remote kingdom of Cathay is beyond the mountains of the Edge of the World, the Dark Grounds, the mountains of the Tears and the Dull Deserts. To reach it, the adventurous travellers and merchants must follow the Silk route, and cross multiple dangers like, for example, penetrate in the kingdoms of the ogres. Nevertheless, to succeed in reaching this country and to return charged with goods from there, ensures fortune any man of the Empire or the Tilée. Cathay is also called the Empire of the Dragon Céleste. One finds in this kingdom of the gilded pagodas and the jade cities. Cathay corresponds to the current China, and the mountains to reach it correspond to the Himalayas.
