Catarina or the Girl of the gangster

Catarina or the Girl of the gangster is a Ballet in 5 tables of Jules Perrot, music of Cesare Pugni, represented for the first time at the Her Majesty' S Theater of London the March 3rd 1846. The main roles are danced by Lucile Grahn, Jules Perrot and Louis Gosselin.

The ballet is taken again with the Scala in 1847 and with Saint-Pétersbourg in 1849, with Fanny Elssler in the main role.

In 1870, Marius Petipa gives of it an adaptation to Saint-Pétersbourg and, in 1888, Enrico Cecchetti represents it with Milan.
