Cat' S Eye (Cats eye in French) is a Manga of Tsukasa Hōjō.
Titrate original: キャッツ ・ アイ ( Kyattsu Have ). Published in French with the editions Tonkam. Ten volumes with the total.
From January 2008 Panini (editor) Manga proposes a republication of Cat' S Eye. Adapted in cartoon (2 seasons of 36 and 37 episodes), and diffused in France under the title Signed Cat' S Eyes .

Short summary of the history

The sisters Kisugi (Rui, Hitomi and Have (Cylia, Tam and Alex in VF)) hold a coffee, the “Cat' S Eye”, the day, and are robbers the night.

But they are not any robbers. Indeed, they steal only the parts having belonged to their father (a German artist of the name of Michael Heintz) and who disappeared without leaving traces already several years ago. They think that by joining together all the collection, they will be able to find their father (supposed to have disappeared in 1945).

They always announce their intention to come to seek a fabric by sending a signed chart, and by specifying the date and the hour of the larcin.
Their large adversary is the inspector Toshio Utsumi ( Quentin Chapuis ), of which the only goal is to catch Cat' S… but which is also promised in marriage of Hitomi. But no matter what it makes it never arrives has to catch them

Correspondence Japanese names/French names

  • Tamara (Tam) Chamade/Hitomi (pupil) Kisugi. It is to some extent the heroin of this manga, it is the sister who makes the flights. It is the second of the sisters. It is a little romantic and always worries for Quentin.
  • Cylia Chamade/Rui (tear) Kisugi. They is elder sisters, and it is also the strategic brain of the group. It is very considered, but it is not less amusing.
  • Alexia Chamade/Have (love) Kisugi. It is the enjouée last and of the three. It is the brain of mechanics. It very often does not appear in the larcenies at the beginning, but little by little his/her sisters will trust him for the missions (it is supposed to be 14 years old at the beginning of the history).
  • Quentin Chapuis/Toshio Utsumi. He contrary to his/her boyfriend is not very romantic, and often arrives late (often because of its chief which him does not hesitate to call it during its vacation and to withdraw days of wages to him). It has only one idea at the head: to capture Cat' S Eye, it will fall even in love from there.
  • Odile Asaya/Mitsuko Asatani. Colleague of Quentin, a nature rather cold and posed. At the beginning of the history it understands that Tam, Cylia and Alex are Cat' S eye. She will cause them many troubles. She falls little by little in love with Quentin.
  • Mr. Durieux/Nagaishi. This man was a friend of the father of Cat' S, this is why it helps them to steal the collection of Heintz in their providing plans or other information.

Comment

The original credits of the series, too judged dared for the public concerned (one does not see heroins stripped there to adopt positions ambiguities) quickly were abandoned with the profit of credits to the more alleviating images.
