Casuarinaceae

The family of the Casuarinacées is a family of plants Dicotylédone S including/understanding 60-100 Espèce S divided into one or four kind S.

The phylogenetic classification place this family in the order of the Fagales.

General characteristics

They are Arbre S or Arbuste S, with the aspect of Prêle S, with very reduced sheets, areas moderated with tropical originating in Australia, Malaysia, New Caledonia and other islands of the southern hemisphere.

The Filao ( Casuarina equisetifolia L.) is undoubtedly the tree most representative of this family
