Castros de Ávila
Census of castros of the province of Ávila of the area Castille and Leon in Spain. The plupar of the castros of Avila were occupied by the Vétones, people celtibère, establish between the rivers Douro and Tage. These castros belongs to the culture of mow cogotas. They differ from those of the Culture of Castros, in the western north of the peninsulas, inter alia by the presence of funerary elements (which make it possible to study their report/ratio with dead) and by the presence of elements which attest of a warlike population before the arrival of the Romans.
