Castrol
Castrol is a British company specialized in the design and the sale of Lubrifiant S for engines. Castrol belongs to the group BP (British Petroleum), but it kept its identity.
It was founded in 1899 per Charles " Cheers" Wakefield (from where the original name of the company " Wakefield Oil Company"). It was renamed Castrol in 1909, in reference to the castor oil ( Castor oil , castor oil in English), which was used to manufacture these lubricants.
In 1966, Castrol is repurchased by " British oil company Burmah" , which was famous Burmah-Castrol.
In 2000, Burmah-Castrol is again repurchased by BP Amoco plc (currently BP plc).
The Castrol lubricants continue to be present throughout the world and are, in many areas, leader of the market.
This company active in the mechanical sport, it is provided by carburizing the stable Red Bull Racing in Formule 1, it is also partner many teams in the motor bike (cross-country race and GP), in particular Suzuki.
