Castle of the Rock of the King

The Château of the Rock of the King is a castle of the 20th century (1900) located at Aix the baths in Savoy.

Situation

Located over the heights of Aix the baths, frame with hillside, the castle dominates a good part of the city and amongst other things overhangs the hypodrome and the golf.

History

It was built in 1900 by the architect of the city Jules Pin (elder) like by the company Leon Grosse. This castle is now classified historic building.

Description

  • Its style architectural is a mixture between the Eastern palates and the castles of the rebirth.

  • Entire surface of the building 500 m ².

  • Builds on a terrace supported by bases arched in full center
