Castle of the Moor
The castle of the Moor is with Montmorillon in the department of the Vienna.
History
Initially castle of Goudon de Bœuf, it is brought in dowry to Goudon of Héraudière towards 1550, which keep it since and took the name of Goudon de Lalande of Héraudière.
Structure
Initially strong house it is transformed into hunting lodge. At the 16th century the castle comprised a home on a floor and roof covered of tiles punts, supported on a square and flanked lathe of a round tower containing the spiral staircase. The work carried out starting from 1872 adds a round tower to him, surrélèvent all the roofs and cover them slates while respecting the two turns and the pigeon one with machicolation.Among dependences of the 19th century sheep-folds of the 16th century and 17th century and a dwelling of the 16th century are.
