The castle of Tanlay is located at Tanlay in the Yonne, department of the Burgundy, is opened with the public.
History
The castle of Tanlay belonged to the family of the Admiral de Coligny then to a close relation of Mazarin: the superintendent of finances Michel Particelli d' Émery before becoming the property of the Marquis de Tanlay since end of the XVIIe siècle.Typical castle known French Renaissance style, built with 16th then 17th, surrounded by ditches.
