Castle of Saint-Laurent-The-Mining

The castle of the St. Lawrence is located at Saint-Laurent-the-Mining, in the Gard (Languedoc-Roussillon, France).

The castle was built in 1664 by Pierre de Sarret and underwent various transformations in the years 1750 with 1800. It is placed a little at the top of the Screw (affluent of the Herault) and is typical large residences of Languedoc with its garden with the Frenchwoman, classified and registered in the guide of the parks and gardens of the Languedoc-Roussillon. Its surrounding grounds of 250 hectares were reduced to 7 hectares currently. The castle has a cascade and a Aqueduc which feeds the water property for the gardens.

Since 1977, the property was divided into joint ownerships.

It is registered with the Historic buildings since 1988.
