Castle of Nieuil
The castle of Nieuil is on the commune of Nieuil, in Charente (16), France. It dates from the time of François Ier which had at this place a relay of hunting.
History
Guillaume-Guy de Dampierre (1849-1906) was owner of the castle of Nieuil. It made there push in 1900 the vineyard of the Brénanchie, become famous in all the area , indicates in its book on the commune the former teacher of Nieuil, Guy Nepoux, passed to the retirement in 1989.
Transformed into hotel in 1937 by the grandparents of the owners Luce and Jean-Michel Bodinaud.
