Castle of Habsbourg
The castle of Habsbourg is in Suisse, in the Canton of Argovie to 3 km of Brugg. It was the property of the family of the Habsbourg which reigned on a good part of Switzerland to the Middle Ages.
The first constructions on the hill of the Wülpelsberg would go up with 1020. Later, the work was reinforced with stones and a square keep of approximately 10 meters on side was built at the beginning of the 13th century. The sudden castle of the demolitions to the 17th century and it is only in 1980 that vast excavations made it possible to better include/understand its history. It shelters a museum today.
