Castle of Guirbaden
The Château of Guirbaden is the widest castle of Alsace. It is located close to the village of Mollkirch in the the Low-Rhine, on left bank of Magel to 565 m of altitude.
The castle dates from the 11th century and sudden during five centuries several attacks, destruction and rebuildings. Sold in 1790, it is classified into 1898 with the Historic buildings.
The ruins are accessible from the village from Mollkirch or Grendelbruch by footpaths.
