Castle of Fleckenstein

The castle of Fleckenstein is located in the Commune Frenchwoman of Lembach, in the department of the the Low-Rhine.

History

This fortress has a long story. Of a one hundred meters length, a thirty meters height and of a width of ten meters, this strong castle with the form of a Ship. The Château is set up at the top of pitons of sandstone to the Moyen-âge. A clever system of collection of the Eau X of Pluie fed a Citerne and one assembles load made it possible to assemble water and other burdens, on the floors.
