Castle of Ermenonville

The castle of Ermenonville, in the Oise, was built at the 18th century on the foundations of an old fortress. modern Castle, it however keeps influences of the medieval time with its two towers located on with dimensions ones.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau died there the July 2nd 1778, at the time of a walk. Its tomb was in the Parc Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

In the castle were turned the films the Visitors and Visitors 2 .
