Castle of Courson
The castle of Courson is a castle francilien having been built in 1676 with Courson-Monteloup in the Essonne.
In the beginning house of the Lamoignon family, the castle remained in the same family since the 18th century. Its historical Parc was drawn in the formal style by a pupil of Ours at the 18th century. At the time of the 19th century, the Jardin S were redrawn twice, first once towards 1820 for the Duke of Padoue by the landscape designer Louis-Martin Berthault and once again towards 1860 by the Bülher brothers who drew many parks and gardens French of which those of Rennes, Lyon and Bordeaux.
Nowadays it is known to accommodate the Journée of the Plants of Courson . This very popular exposure is held the 3rd wek-end to with it October] since 1982. Since 1987 a session of spring is held also the 3rd weekend of May.
