Castle of Chavaniac

The castle of Chavaniac is house-strong of eighteen parts located at Chavaniac-Lafayette, Haute-Loire, framed by two black stone turns of Auvergne. It was built at the 14th century. The marquis of Fayette was born there in 1757.

In 1917, an industrialist states-unien, John Moffat, bought it and made it renovate basic in roof in order to shelter documents and objects. It is furnished with pieces of furniture with style Louis XIII.
