  • the current castle is built on order of Marguerite of Rochefoucaud to give work at the time of a food shortage in 1453

structure

  • today still this castle is presented as an imposing fortress
  • the two high round towers are covered with a single roof. This roof covers also the central passage thus forming a house. One notices the openings for drain-holes.
  • a large rectangular building has, him, very transformed.
