Casting

For the Performing arts, the casting is the stage which makes it possible to choose a team of Acteur S, Danseur S, Chanteur S or other observers for a representation in front of a public, on line or recorded. Casting generally consists of a series of hearing S in front of a jury of casting, composed people such as the producing , the Director and the Chorégraphe. The jury of casting considers at the same time the individual talent of the artists and the alchemy of their association.

According to the prestige of the role, the opinions of casting can be made public (typical for the Théâtre amateur), be proposed with professional local actors or semi-professionals (for supporting roles with the Théâtre and the Cinéma) or specifically selected actors (for the first roles, particularly with the cinema).
