Castilly

Castilly is a common French, located in the department of the Calvados and the area Basse-Normandie.

Geography

The commune is located in the Bessin, with six kilometers in the south-east of Isigny-on-Sea and with twenty-four kilometers of Bayeux. Castilly is included in the Regional natural park of the Marshes of Cotentin and Bessin.

History

Castilly-the-forest amalgamated the February 15th 1965 with the commune of Mestry under the name of Castilly.
