Ferdinand Kübler (born July 24th 1919 with Marthalen close to Zurich -) is regarded by the experts as largest Swiss cyclist of all times.
Called “the Insane one pedalling”, “the Man horse”, it was tall with the very tanned dye. It was also called the cow-boy because of his taste for the Stetson hats. It became professional runner in 1940 but its beginnings in the competition had to be limited to Switzerland, because of occupation Nazi in most of Europe. It hung up again in 1957, 38 years old.
