History

Etymology: " red castle " that some believed to be able to advance must be disputed because it does not rest on any serious element, it is necessary to see rather there a transcription error of the word arrouy (red) instead of the word Gascon " arroùlh" of the same consonance but of direction completely disagreement. " Arroùlh ( arroùlha, arroùlhado, arroùlhadis ) masculine adjective derived from the Gascon verb " arroùlha" (to involve, to make roll violently) indicates something of jeté with bottom, of ploughed up. Thus " Castet Arroùlh " would be in fact a Château of ground and of wood destroyed or shaved for various reasons strong a long time ago but that the oral tradition with always stored.
