Castellamare di Stabia is a Italian city of approximately: 65400 inhabitants located in the Province of Naples in Campania, in the Southern Italy.

History

The city was built on the site of Stabies, a vacation resort appreciated of the Romains, but which burned at the time of the eruption of the Vesuvius in the year 79.

The royal house Quisisana built in 1310 and rebuilt in 1820 east désomais a hotel.

Castellammare di Stabia is a destination for the Thermalisme because there are mineral thermal springs used since the time of the Romans.
